Equatio’s Whiteboard just got a big upgrade. And it’s all about helping you work faster, clearer and more creatively.
Powered by the latest Excalidraw update, the Whiteboard now includes performance and security improvements, along with a host of brand-new features designed to make teaching and learning more intuitive.
What’s new?
- A cleaner shapes experience: The Shapes and Smart Shapes buttons have been merged into one new Shapes Library. Everything’s now in one place, making it quicker to find the shape you need.
- Stats for Nerds is now Canvas & Shape Properties: The old “Stats for Nerds” panel has been renamed and improved. Right-click on any blank space to open it. You can now tweak grid spacing and view exact sizing for any selected object.
- Text wrapping: Resize a text box from the left or right, and your text will automatically wrap. No more awkward layouts.
- New font picker: Choose from a wider range of fonts to match your style or differentiate between sections.
- Flow Chart Builder: Create flow charts instantly. Select a shape, then press Ctrl/Cmd + arrow key to generate connected steps. Use Alt/Option + arrow key to move between them.
- Crop images directly: Right-click any image and select Crop Image, no external tools needed.
- Link anything: Add links to images or objects to connect to a website or even another object on the board. Perfect for multi-step activities or guided navigation.
