We’ve enhanced the Staff Usage Summary Export in Unique Learning System (ULS), making it easier to understand how educators are using instructional tools across classrooms.
These updates provide a more complete view of activity, helping schools and districts better connect usage to teaching and learning.

What’s new

The report now includes additional metrics related to assignments and teacher interactions, offering a clearer picture of how content is being used.

Educators and leaders can now see both unique and total assignments, along with insights into how student-facing resources and key features are being accessed. We’ve also improved clarity in assessment reporting by renaming “Inactive Benchmarks” to “Reading Level Assessment.”

Designed for better visibility

Understanding how tools are used in practice is essential for supporting effective instruction.

These enhancements make it easier to see whether materials are being assigned, how resources are being used, and how educators are engaging with student progress - all within an existing report.

Supporting more informed decisions

By expanding and refining this report, ULS helps schools and districts gain more meaningful insights without adding new tools or extra steps.

It’s a more straightforward way to understand usage, support educators, and make informed decisions about teaching and learning.
